Companies
By website domain or company LinkedIn page: current customers, competitors, partners, your own company.
People
By email, email hash or LinkedIn profile: contacts already in your CRM, people who opted out with you.
How it works
- Exclusions are applied when an export builds its audience, before anything is paid for.
- If someone still comes back, for example under a different email, they’re dropped before they’re written or counted. We keep that person’s other email hashes too, so they’re left out up front next time.
- Lane counts and “available now” leave exclusions out from each lane’s next check. To update counts straight away, run
POST /api/v1/checks. - People you’ve already exported stay in your leads. Exclusions apply to future exports.
- For people, only a SHA-256 hash of each email or profile is kept, never the address itself.
Companies
Add companies
Upload a CSV
domain, company_domain, website, url, …) or a company LinkedIn column, or it can be a plain list with one per line. Websites are cleaned to the bare domain: https://www.example.com/about becomes example.com.
People
Add people
email_sha256 instead of emails if you’d rather not send addresses: the SHA-256 of the email, trimmed and lowercased. A CSV or plain list works too: every cell that’s an email, an email hash or a LinkedIn profile URL counts.
GET /api/v1/exclusions returns both counts in one call.
The people count is the number of hashes held: each email or profile you sent, plus other email hashes we found for the same people.
